By accessing or using the Community Care Portal operated by Jackson County Job & Family Services (“JCJFS”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the portal.

Purpose of the Portal

The Community Care Portal is designed to connect residents of Jackson County, Ohio, with local assistance, resources, and volunteer support. The portal facilitates communication between community members seeking help and JCJFS facilitators who coordinate available services.

Use of the Portal

You agree to use the Community Care Portal only for its intended purpose and in compliance with all applicable laws. You agree not to:

• Submit false, misleading, or fraudulent information
• Impersonate another person or entity
• Use the portal for any commercial purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to portal systems or data
• Interfere with the proper functioning of the portal
• Harvest or collect personal information of other users

No Guarantee of Services

While JCJFS strives to connect community members with appropriate resources, submission of a request through the portal does not guarantee that assistance will be provided. The availability of services depends on current resources, funding, eligibility requirements, and other factors.

Community Board

Requests may be displayed on the public Community Board only with the approval of a JCJFS facilitator. Published requests display only the category and description — personal contact information is never shown publicly. Community members who offer help through the Community Board agree to have their contact information shared with JCJFS staff for coordination purposes.

Disclaimer of Warranties

The Community Care Portal is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. JCJFS does not warrant that the portal will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.

Limitation of Liability

JCJFS shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Community Care Portal or any services arranged through it.

Changes to Terms

JCJFS reserves the right to modify these Terms of Use at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. Continued use of the portal after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
